I don’t know many pregnancy unicorns, actually I can only think of one friend who loooooved pregnancy. But you’re right that our kids make it all worth it 🥲 And as someone who is currently six months pregnant I reeeeally resonated with the comments you received while pregnant 😩 Just yesterday at work - “There’s no way you’ll make it to October.” “I was half your size at 40 weeks.” “You’re going to have a big baby.” Me - my other babies were pretty big, I just hope this one isn’t 10 pounds “Don’t hold your breath honey.” And people think they’re the only ones saying these things but you’re hearing them fifty times a day every day and it really starts to wear on you. Sigh. Thanks for sharing!! Sweet that we’re not alone ❤️

Loved reading this! I didn’t have the easiest pregnancy, but I would remind myself of exactly what you said: I should be thankful I can even get pregnant. I had a lot of friends who were struggling with that and so I almost felt guilty for complaining if they were days I wasn’t feeling 100%!

I also used to be a runner and had the hip pain you were talking about. I remember telling my doctor and she said just get used to it. Pain is a part of pregnancy. I remember being mad at her response but nothing I did could reach the pain just like you said I stretching nothing could relieve it. Surprisingly, I didn’t have that with my second now that I think about it.
